For $19,000, a company called Mr. Kennedy will make you 24-carat gold laces which take about 120 hrs to make by hand.

“The world’s only precious metal shoelaces” are finely crafted using “ancient, artisan jewelry techniques.”

The man behind the laces is Colin Hart, who named his company after ‘Mr Kennedy’, inventor of the modern-day shoelace.

He explains that shoelaces are boring and hopes that his blinged-out offerings will attract people who enjoy the “practical made special.”

Adding to their exclusivity, only ten pairs of the shoelaces will ever be made.

Research in Motion, in collaboration with Porsche Design, launched its latest BlackBerry smartphone Porsche Design P’9981. The exterior is made up of a forged stainless steel frame and the rear is covered with hand-wrapped leather. It also boasts of a laser cut QWERTY keyboard. The P’9981 comes fully functional with 8 GB of hard-drive memory, a 1.2 GHz processor, as well as Dual-Band Wi-Fi capabilities and offering 720p HD video. The device offers a smooth browsing experience and a built-in compass, as well as the usual selection of exclusive appl on BlackBerry App World™ 3.0. The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981 smartphone is set to hit stores later this year. Pricing information is not yet announced, but the device is anticipated to cost $2,000. “The Porsche Design P’9981 is a truly modern luxury smartphone, where the timeless style of Porsche Design meets the unmatched mobile experience provided by BlackBerry,” Todd Wood of RIM said describing the phone. This will be RIM’s first collaboration with a luxury brand to release a smartphone and RIM now joins other collaborations on the market today, including Samsung with Armani, LG with Prada, Asus with Lamborghini, and Acer with Ferrari. Top-quality, exclusive materials were used throughout, with a natural color palette that echoes the sand and sky of the desert.

The main room offers a VIP lounge with L shaped divan, two club seats and a large dining table for 6 guests.

A fully private compartment offers either a cozy lounge for the day or a large double bed for the night. A dedicated bathroom with shower completes the private lounge.

The plane has ample seating for members of a VIP’s travelling entourage. It also has a large cargo belly, allowing transportation of large amounts of luggage.

This A320 is equipped with the latest technologies such as GSM, new touch screens, mood-lighting, wifi internet access and iPod/iPhone.

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 40th Anniversary watch will be officially unveiled January 2012 at SIHH in Geneva.

This year Hublot makes another big bang with this baguette diamond covered 18k white gold Big Bang tourbillon watch. This follows up the Million Dollar Bing Bang from a few years ago that used black diamonds. The $3 Million Big Bang has something like 142 carats of diamonds all over the case, dial, and bracelet.
