Marine Corps Is Investigating U.S. Soldiers Urinating On Dead Corpse

According to TMZ reports:

The United States Marine Corps is launching an investigation into a video which appears to show Marines in full combat gear urinating on several dead bodies … TMZ has learned.

In the extremely graphic video, which appeared on various websites this morning, at least 4 male Marines expose their genitals and urinate on the bodies.

The mystery person who posted the video included a caption that reads, “scout sniper team 4 with 3rd battalion 2nd marines out of camp lejeune peeing on dead talibans.”

Now, Captain Kendra N. Hardesty — a Media Officer for the USMC — tells us, “While we have not yet verified the origin or authenticity of this video, the actions portrayed are not consistent with our core values and are not indicative of the character of the Marines in our Corps.”

She adds, “This matter will be fully investigated and those responsible will be held accountable for their actions.”

In the video, one of the urinating men can be heard saying, “Have a great day, buddy.”

Another guy jokes about the situation … saying, “Golden like a shower.”

PRISON POPULATIONS DROP, BUT BLACK INCARCERATION REMAINS HIGH

Though the overall prison population is on the decline, the incarceration rate for African-American men and women in federal and state prisons was much higher in 2010, when compared with the number of whites and Hispanics behind bars, according to a U.S. Justice Department report published in December.

“There is no one thing that is driving down the prison incarceration rate,” said Marc Mauer, executive director of The Sentencing Project. “In some states, it is the fiscal crisis… Other states are keeping former inmates on tighter supervision instead of sending them back to prison parole violations. It costs a state $25,000 annually to keep some in prison compared with $3,000 a year to keep them on parole.”

New Rumors About Crack Guidelines…Don’t Believe The Hype!

Starting on Nov. 1, some federal prisoners convicted for crack offenses became eligible to apply for a reduced sentence. This prompted new rumors that are unfortunately not true. The only change that went into effect on November 1 that might reduce sentences for some federal prisoners is the reduction to crack cocaine guidelines. Click here for more information about the changes.

!There have been no changes to federal good time or parole. Specifically, partially restoring parole is a proposal endorsed by some advocates but no bill about it has been introduced in Congress. For an idea to become a law, it must first be introduced by a member of Congress and then passed by a majority of both the House and the Senate and signed by the president.  None of those things have happened.

The extradition order — obtained by the Mexican magazine emeequis and shared with The New York Times — includes testimony by a Drug Enforcement Administration special agent who oversaw a covert money laundering investigation against a Colombian trafficker named Harold Mauricio Poveda-Ortega, also known as “The Rabbit.” He is accused of having sent some 150 tons of cocaine to Mexico between 2000 and 2010. Much of that cocaine, the authorities said, was destined for the United States.

Is The Iraq War Really Over???

The IRAQ War is over.. yeaaa aight!!! After nearly nine years, CBS News reported that the war in Iraq is officially over as the last U.S. troops left the country. When they finally crossed the sand berm that separates Iraq from Kuwait, lighted by floodlights and lined with barbed wire, the mood inside Jewell’s vehicle was subdued. No cheers. No hugs. Mostly just relief. His comrade, Sgt. Ashley Vorhees, mustered a bit more excitement. “I’m out of Iraq,” she said. “It’s all smooth sailing from here.” With a bunch of hugs and pounds and the famous Jersey fist pumps.
