Bills in Congress You Should Be Watching
Bills in Congress that could affect you or a loved one!
Although most of us are concentrating our efforts on paying bills, saving money and monitoring what is going on with the countries health care and deficit; we can’t forget about the injustices that STILL exist in the criminal justice system. Most of us still have family/friends that are in prison. Below are a list of bills currently in Congress that we should be monitoring via FAMM.ORG.
IMPORTANT: Federal bills do not become law until they pass both the House of Representatives and the Senate and are signed by the President. If the House and the Senate pass different versions of the same overall legislation, then typically a special conference committee composed of representatives of both chambers meets to try to settle the differences. If they reach agreement, the compromise is sent back to the floors of the House and Senate for a final vote. If both bodies approve it, the compromise is sent to the President.
The bill has to travel through Congress and be signed by the President during the congressional term in which they are introduced. Each congressional term is two years. If the bill does not pass both the House and Senate before the end of Congress, the bill does not become law. Wake up people! The Phalse Profit BO is anti-hip-hop. “You’re not all going to be NBA ballers and rappers.” he is fond of saying to the youth in his speeches to them. At first, it sounded like tough love. But then I began to read between the lines. I began to slowly wake up from the dream, the promise of “hope” and “change.” The message is “don’t be a rapper.”
Hip-hop is about more than just rap. This is the only black owned industry in the United States and for the first time in history. There are many jobs in the hip-hop community, and the people need jobs, not welfare scams where the biggest beneficiaries are the crooked-ass, big willy, police brutalitizing government g-men.
I was in a dream that was nothing like the King’s dream. I awoke from the NWO’s fantasy of a “deliverer,” a fake messenger of peace designed by the enemy: corrupt internationalists. Now, I see the truth. We have elected a sleeper from the nation–the same people who got X. If Rev Wright is a Christian, than I am the fucking Easter Bunny.
If this upsets you, good! That means you too are beginning to wake up to the truth about our world. Learn the facts for yourself as I did. Learn the facts about ACORN.
We can’t let these people pick the winners and losers of evolution through Deathcare. Wake up, American citizen. Minorities eat the fatty foods. White people eat the organic, healthy shit. Who do you think will loose coverage (life) in their international vision of the future? This vision can be stopped with the power of our vote and our voices.

The truth of the matter is, you all are lost. If you have led your life listening to what another tells you to do, that is where you went wrong. Your life is for you to live how you see fit. Don’t lash out at others who believe or need another to believe in, to move forward. There is always a person complaining about something. Get your self elected as an official, make that change, don’t sit back with everthing to say about something and have no power to do anything. To me, talk is cheap. Crying helps NOTHING! I came here thinking I was going to find support about the bills that are being considered and I come across all this Blah Blah Blah…. Back to basics people. Grow up. Get out. Make something happen, then come back and talk about the change you help create.
The point so many people especially those that are incarcerated and for those that do not vote is that laws are made and passed by those voters put in office. When you fail to vote or do not pay attention to those that are in office, thus not voicing your needs and how you what them to vote, those with the loudest voices are heard. We live in an environment of self interest. What prisoners need to do is put their heads together and figure out how to get their right to vote. Once this is done seek individuals that are running for office that will have your interest at the forefront of there agendas. Remember the lifers laws of many states were laws passed by those that voted. Use the system for what it was set up to do and stop complainting, because you have the resources to make a different.
