Miami Music Legend and President of Don Diva Miami.
We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident. Sam was not just the president of Don Diva South, he was our brother and family friend for over 20 years.  Sam was well respected and loved by many. He will be missed.

I didn’t know the man personally, but like anyone I have liked. I only knew their work. The work is great! it’s is what we need to guide the streets on how to “properly” come out of the Obama experience on top. I noticed the change in the writing pre/post nomination. I wondered how the mag would respond. I saw all this to say that I;m thankful that you guys had such a good leader to understand that he could move the streets in the right direction by changing his message up even ever so slightly. I pray for his family, friends and coworkers.

It’s crazy when you personally know a dude like P-Man!!! I knew both sides of him…from the good to the bad and yeah he had the street shit still going on, but dude had a big heart for those he liked/cared for. Did he bring shit to the table both good and bad? Yeah he did, but still big man had a big heart. Did he provide opportunities for a cat like me back in the day? Yeah he did, but I got scratched by the fucked up side of him just as well. Stil at the end of the day P-Man was a good dude, just couldn’t get away from what he knew. Somebody called him the Suge Knight of the Miami music scene…they damn right!!!! But at the end of the day I gots to say dude was a good brotha to those he loved & cared about!! I knew P-Man for at least two years. DLowe and I were about to start doing some work for him with Don Diva. I saw P-Man the weekend before all this went down. He had come by the jet ski party that Boss does every Sunday. He had recently been changing his diet and working out (lost a few pounds too). Because of his recent 21 days he had asked that I make his plate of food very hefty. We had a little laugh about it because he was recently being so cautious of what he was previously eating. I enjoyed his company very much. He was a very humble and good spirited man. I didn’t know his other side and honestly it doesn’t even matter to me. We all do our own dirt, so who other than God has the right to judge us?! It is a shame that we have to loose another brotha! Now he’s where he belongs with our heavenly father. Much love to his family. I hope to keep his memory alive, as you see it’s been months and he’s still on my mind. Give a holla to Dollah for me P-Man. Much love, God Bless!
