1. New York: 190,363 diagnosed cases/2,390 diagnosed under the age of 13 (NY has been #1 for the #3rd year straight)

2. California: 159,606 diagnosed cases/687 under the age of 13

3. Florida: 116, 041 diagnosed/1,571 under the age of 13

4. Texas: 76, 674 diagnosed/396 under the age of 13 (Texas has been on the list for the last 10 years)

5. New Jersey: 53,756 diagnosed/801 under the age of 13 (New Jersey is the smallest state with the largest numbers making the ratio higher than any other state in the country)

6. Georgia: 38,084 diagnosed/345 under the age of 13 (Atlanta ranks #3 with the highest STD rate)

7. Pennsylvania: 37, 842 diagnosed/375 under the age of 13 (African Americans make up 58% of the HIV rate)

8. Illinois: 37, 592 diagnosed /288 under the age of 13 (Chicago contributes close to 72% of the HIV/AIDS rate)

9. Maryland: 35, 395 diagnosed /330 under the age of 13

10. Puerto Rico: 32, 057 diagnosed /406  under the age of 13
